The first January 2024 cohort of SMEs received significant support as part of the GIZ Rwanda Special Initiative “Decent Work for a Just Transition.” GOPA Worldwide Consultants and the IPOSITA Rwanda team successfully conducted a two-day Business Growth Training Workshop aimed at assisting and fostering the growth of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (#SMEs) for job creation and improvement.

The workshop is a key component of a series of measures aimed at sustaining the business model of the ‘Rwanda E-Commerce Centre’ in Kigali and the online marketplace RwandaMart.

A total of 18 SMEs have been provided with valuable skills to enhance their business operations, and they have been introduced to the latest methods, concepts, and growth strategies, ultimately leading to increased job opportunities within the sector.
