Smart Solar Irrigation

It is a project which focuses on the intensification of crop production through solar-powered irrigation systems.  

The project uses SunMoksha’s IoT and cloud-based Smart AQUAnet™ system, is designed to help small and marginal farmers operate a shared irrigation system/resource. It ensures authorized usage of water thereby, bringing accountability in usage and reducing misuse.

It provides flexibility to design and deliver innovative business models through differential and slab-based billing. It optimizes water requirements for irrigation by sensing hydrological conditions such as soil moisture, ambient temperature, humidity, etc.

The system also provides ease of operations through remote control & monitoring. It provides complete transparency of operations on water usage, and time of operations to all stakeholders such as governments, communities, donors, farmers, etc.
