However, much of Rwanda’s traditional cultural heritage revolved around  traditional crafts such as covers basketry, ceramics, and ironworks. These provided another element of continuity with the past.

Glo creations is a Rwandan based textile design and printing company, specializing in creating African inspired quality patterns for textile, garments, and home interiors,. The company is looking for Finnish partners for transfer of knowledge and the experience of the use of technology in textile printing. They would like to import and distribute raw materials and technology machinery from Finland. They are also looking for an intermediary trader to sell their products in the Finnish market.


Glo Creations was established in 2008 and they are based in the capital city of Rwanda, Kigali. The company currently employ 9 full-time employees.

The company specializes in creating African inspired quality patterns for textile, garments, and home interiors. Glo creation’s unique selling point is their products because they reflect people’s culture and heritage. The designs can also be customized to fit any culture.

The customers so far have been West Africans, especially from Ivory Coast (incl. e.g. homeowners, corporate organizations, and tourists). Glo creations has over eight years of experience in the market and 75% of their products are exported they have knowledge of quality and quantity demand, and logistics.
